Alexander Jake Knudson
February 26, 1996 - April 4, 2019
Alex passed away on April 4, 2019 at the young age of 23. He was born on February 26, 1996 to Mark and Vicki Knudson.
Alex loved chillin’ with his friends and was a friend to all. His beautiful smile would light up a room instantly. He had such a big, kind heart and was always so gracious. He went out of his way to assist anyone in need. He loved skiing, camping, being outdoors and traveling, especially to Hawaii.
Although his life was cut too short, Alex was the most wonderful son. Without his light, the world has gotten a little darker and we will miss his sweet soul.
Alex graduated from Skyline High School and attended the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College.
Alex is survived by his mother, Vicki; Grandparents, Neil and Renee Weight; Aunts and Uncles, Scott (Leslie) Weight, Scott (Karol) Knudson, Laurie (Woody) Cannon; Cousins, Chris, Logan, Connor, Spencer, Erin and Taylor. And numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Mark; Grandparents, Al and Margaret Knudson.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, April 11th from 6-8 p.m. at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building. Please come celebrate his life and share your memories. Casual attire, anything goes!
Alex loved dogs! In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter.

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. I can only how you must feel. I have personally found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life (John 5:28, 29). I hope that these words bring you comfort as well.

Although your hearts are filled with pain and sorrow, my hope is that you gain comfort from God's promise to reunite us with our loved ones on the earth; never having to say goodbye again. For Jesus will make this earth the problem-free paradise that his father intended it to be. Revelation 21:4; and John 5:28, 29 holds out these promises to us. I have gained comfort and strength from knowing this, may you and our family do the same.
