Alexis Johnson passed away peacefully at the Coventry Senior Living in Cottonwood Heights after a long illness. Alexis was born in Santa Rosa, California and eventually settled in Utah to assist with the care of her husband’s parents. She lived in Murray for over forty years. Her peonies were always admired every spring by her neighbors and friends. Alexis will be remembered for her quick wit and loving nature.
She is survived by her loving husband Dwight, and many extended relatives in California. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Opal Woodward and brothers Marshall and Fred, in-laws, Richard and Charmion Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 11th at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N Street East (4th Ave and N Street), Salt Lake City, UT.
