Alice Y. Bedell
Alice passed away on April 21, 2012 at the age of 92 while surrounded by her family who loves her.
She was born June 26, 1919 in Coeymans Hollow, New York to Rebecca Forbes and Edward E. Yager. She married Edward F. Bedell in South Carolina one day before he was deployed to serve our country for over three years in WWII. Alice spent many years as a Stenographer for the New York State Legislature. She and her family were very active at Christ Episcopal Church in Greenville. Alice was a strong, caring and supportive wife and mother. In her later years her life revolved around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she adored.
She is survived by her son Edward (Leah); granddaughters Kerry (Derek) Steward and Kristina Blair; great-grandchildren McKenzie and Cabot Steward and Hatcher and Bedell Blair.
Preceded in death by her husband Edward; and her brother, William Yager.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 18th at 11:30 AM at Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, Route 9W, New Baltimore. Friends are invited to visit the family at a luncheon immediately following services.

I adopted Miley from Purrfect Paws on 12-18-09. She has been the best kitty I have every had (and I have had cats my enrtie life). Miley not only had a name the day I picked her out , but she had obviously been handled and loved as well. She is in perfect health and the most love able companion I could have asked for. You see, I wentlooking for a cat to replace my Aerial who I had from birth and died from old age at 19 on December 11,2009. I am so thankful for Purrfect Paws and would highly recommended them for anyone who is looking for a loving companion..I Love my Miley!!
