Allen Ray Smith

October 26, 1979 - April 28, 2021

Our cherished Son and Brother Allen passed away in a tragic accident on Wednesday April, 28th 2021.  He was 41 years old, born on October 26th 1979 in Murray, Utah. He loved music, dancing and being around his family. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic with his brother at Seagull Diesel Repair. Allen had a hard life but overcame so very much and was very loved. He was a goofy, fun loving guy! He could always make you feel good on bad days. 

He's survived in death by his daughter Anastyn Smith. His Mom, Cindy Castro. His Dad, Scott Newbury. His Stepdad, Steven Castro. His Brother Kory Scoggan (Kallie, Ulysses and Khloe) His sister Jacki O'Dell (Mitch, Joseph, Logan, Serenity, Thomas and Desmond) His grandma Joy Markham.  His girlfriend Natalie Greenhalgh. His Aunts and uncles and cousins. Amanda Glenn (Casper, Tiandra, Ariana, Riley, Kota and Miloh) Jeff Newbury (Todd, T.J, Derek, Athena and Mikalee) Emily Ashmore (Stephanie) David Neilson. Kim Newbury (Jim, Marty, Anthony and Shalyn) Jamie Liepold (Ameena and Aaron). James Markham (Von) Timothy Markham (Andrea and Braxton) Michael Markham. 

He's proceeded in Death by his Grandfather's Kenneth Markham and Thomas Newbury. His grandmother Ellen Newbury. His cousin Colton Christensen. The Mother of his Daughter Ashlyn Crockett.

A celebration of Allen's life will be on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

Hey Brat You always could make me laugh no matter how mad I was or even who I was mad at I know you will run into your buddy Adam Simpson and you both will be wheeling those jeeps around thanks for being one of the few guys I knew if I ever needed help you'd be the first ones to show up you and Natalie were always fun to hang out with keep an eye on all of us from above and if Natalie ever needs anything I'll be the first one to show up for her just like you always were to us You will be forever loved And Never forgotten
