Alvera returned to Jesus on January 9, 2017.
She was born August 9, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Veronica and Alexander Carbone. She worked for Burlington Railroad and UPS. She met her loving husband, Raymond J. Krupowicz and they remained happily married until he passed in June of 1978. She loved her family, especially her grandchild, Christianne M. Murphy. Alvera loved life to the fullest; gardening and studying the bible were her life passions. She enjoyed taking long walks with her special yorkie companion, Leo.
She is survived by her children Rosemarie (David) Murphy, Laura Krupowicz and John Krupowicz; and her granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded by her brother Ralph Carbone.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 16th from 5:30 until 7:00 PM where a Memorial Service will begin at 7:00PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT.

I will always remember fondly Vera at our table for Thanksgiving. With her quick wit, gift for storytelling and her love for all things delicious, she will be greatly missed!
