Amelia M. Medina returned to her Heavenly Father March 21, 2009 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born October 5, 1934 in Sebastian, TX to Antonio and Maria Martinez. Amelia met the love of her life at a dance where her sisters were singing and her husband-to-be was playing the drums. His music stole her heart. Guadalupe and Amelia were married October 18, 1962. Together they had four children, Debby (Javier) Robles, Jr. (Corinne), Victor, Yolanda (Ron) Yengich. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, four sisters, one brother, other extended family members and many friends.
Amelia was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in the Spanish-American Mission to Texas along with many other callings.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at 1:00 at the River Oaks 3rd Ward, 8825 South 1095 West, West Jordan, where friends may call upon the family at a viewing beginning at 11:30.
