In Loving Memory
I am profoundly saddened by Andy’s passing. I offer you my condolences. The world has lost a truly good man. Andy was the best boss of my carrier with Hewlett Packard. His sense of humor and sometime different look at life was always entertaining. My life was deeply and positively impacted by my association with Andy.

Andy was a true blessing to many he worked with at Hewlett-Packard. We always had fun, and he was very funny is so many ways. He hired me into HP, as a CE in 1980 and also into the escalation team of HP years later. In many ways he was like a second Father to me. He taught me so much, about work ethics, people, and how to have fun. Even in times of stress, in our work, he never showed it. What a great person to work with. I truly loved him.

Dear Veronica and Family, I am so deeply sorry to learn of Andy's passing. He hired me to work at HP right out of college and I can say unequivocally he was the best manager that I ever had in my career. He was actually my manager twice in my career and I learned so much from him. I had the opportunity to visit with him at the Home Depot where he worked part-time a couple of years ago (I was there on a service call for HP) and we had a really nice time getting reacquainted and reminiscing about times gone by. I also fondly remember all the times we met at the cabin up near Brighton to talk about work stuff…well, mostly we talked about anything but work, hunting and skiing were the main topics as I recall. Andy profoundly impacted my life and countless other lives for the better. He will be greatly missed. Our love to you and the entire Florin family!!
