Andrew Cassedy Christensen

February 19, 1988 - September 17, 2021

Andrew is survived by his mother, Jenny Cassedy, his father, Scott Christensen, his brothers Thad Faeth, Graham Faeth (deceased) and Miles Christensen, his nephews Matt and Max Faeth and Colin Christensen, nieces Addison Faeth, Maren and Elizabeth Christensen, step-mother Kim Hardy, and many more aunts, uncles nephews, nieces and friends.  Lastly, he will be missed by his good friends Bray and Brock Jensen, Taylor Beck and Emily Simpson.

Andrew loved music from the moment he was born.  One of his favorite songs as an infant was “Don’t Worry Be Happy”.  As a teen he graduated to Linkin Park, the US Postal service and Him among others.  As an adult he was an avid Coachella attendee and loved the live concert scene.  He and his niece, Addy shared a big love for The Weekend.

His friends Brock and Bray shared his enthusiasm for the Utes and its rivalry with BYU.  He was fond of anime and gaming.  He was described as incredibly good looking and he knew it.

He graduated from the University of Utah and obtained a Juris Doctorate and advanced Financial licenses.  He was recently employed in Private Banking.

His collection of basketball shoes and jerseys was truly legendary.  He owned more than 90 pairs of basketball shoes.  He loved Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and was a major Laker fan.  He played basketball in high school and continued to play pick up games throughout his life.

Andrew possessed a brilliant mind.  He could be funny enough to make you cry in a restaurant.  His emotions were deeply felt.  He could be shy in speaking about himself and gregarious with strangers.  At times he was impetuous, silly and tempermental.

Andrew is missed by all who loved him.
