Our beloved Andy passed away unexpectedly on June 22nd, 2008. He was born June 8th, 1978 to Wanda A. Sanchez and Douglas H. Lackey. Andy was the highlight of our family; he always brought a smile, laugh and a joke to everyone. Andy was one who was very loving, caring and always loved unconditional and never judging. He had many loves and joys in his life. He loved to keep busy with family and friends. Andy loved to play baseball and did it as often as he could. He loved watching movies, going out to nice places for dinner, having family barbeques and listening to music. Andy’s biggest joy in his life were his children Andrew and Izaac. The time spent with his kids were moments that Andy treasured and always held those special times in his heart. Andy took very much pride and dignity in raising and protecting his children. Survived by his loving mother Wanda (James) Wheeler; brothers Thomas (Melanie), Eric (Veronica); sons Andrew and Izaac; and their mother Angelica Sanchez; his very special Grandparents who were always there for him, John and Mary Sanchez; Grandparents Bonnie and Emmett Rodriguez; aunts Brenda (Peter), Wendy, Tammi, Diana, Marianne, Amber; uncles Mike (Carole) and Rick Sanchez; extended aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his fiancé Cassy Kelly; Patricia a very special Aunt; and Dean a very special Uncle. A special thanks to Aunt Daphne Sanchez and very special cousin Shaun Rains. Preceded in death by his father Doug; aunt Twanna Lackey; uncle Dennis Miera; cousin Emilio Lackey; special friend Anthony Jones. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 26th from 7 to 9 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, where a Vigil will begin at 7:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 27th at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. Interment to follow at Murray City Cemetery 5490 South Vine Street, Murray. The family wishes to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and generosity.
