Arthur Keith Fullerton

November 8, 1945 - July 13, 2022

Arthur Keith Fullerton, age 76, of Salt Lake City, passed away July 13, 2022 after a very short battle with cancer. Keith was born November 8, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Vernon and Evelyn (Clark) Fullerton. Keith attended West High School, and then joined the United States Navy in June 1964, where he served during Vietnam as a motorboat operator on the USS Ashland based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Keith met the love of his life, Cynthia Koopman, in September 1976. Six weeks after meeting, on November 5, 1976, they married in Las Vegas, Nevada. For almost 46 years they were inseparable and devoted to one another.

After the Navy, Keith worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a boilermaker, and then for the United States Air Force in many positions. While working for the Air Force he was able to travel the world, going TDY to several countries such as England, Germany, Turkey, and Diego Garcia.

Keith had many hobbies over the years, including working on cars, building models, target shooting, drawing, and flying his drone. He was 10 years old when he changed his first car engine. It seemed he could build or fix anything.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia; children Wendy (Terry) Fausett of Taylorsville, Steve Fullerton of Kearns, Robert (Christie) Fullerton of Taylorsville, Jennifer (Jeremy) Green of Layton, Heidi (Chad) Mucha of North Ogden, and Patrick (Sophie) Fullerton of Holladay; grandchildren Russ, Sterling, Anthony, Breanna, K'nute, Jessica, Kyle, Chris, Dustie, Addilyn, Briston, Daisy, Gabe, Madeline, Cordelia, Max, Jaxon, Rexley, and Isaac; 11 great-grandchildren; and lifelong best friend and brother of 72 years, Brian (Lorna) Petty of Sweeney, Texas. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Evelyn, brother Gene, sister Beth, mother-in-law Marjorie Koopman, and father-in-law Walter Koopman.
