Ashley Elizabeth Clark Bach

January 27, 1972 - July 22, 2024

Our beautiful Ashley left this world on July 22, 2024. She passed peacefully at home.

Ashley was born on January 27, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard and Claire Clark. She grew up in Emigration and Killyons Canyon. She, her sister Roxanne and neighborhood buddies ran quite wild in those hills and meadows. The spiritual love she developed for all that is natural, along with her fearless explorer quality, became an integral essence and style at an early age. Over the years as those passions and talents deepened, she could ski/snowboard like a champ, win ribbons in swim competitions, ride in horseshows, sleep out with her best buddies in the red rocks of southern Utah and venture off to Grateful Dead shows all over the West.

Through the years Ashley made fabulous friends; many of those ties still run true and deep. Music filled her life; her gorgeous soprano voice was clear and strong singing around the piano in the countless parties at home with her dad, sister, friends, and mom at the keyboard: Broadway musicals, arias, ballads, pop.

Ashley followed her father's footsteps, headfirst into the world of acting. A prestigious invitation to the Summer Sundance Institute launched an extraordinary opportunity and successful film career in Los Angeles. As the California years went by, Ashley began to miss home, family, the mountains, and most significantly had met her Hero and the man she would marry, Stefan Bach from Los Angeles, CA, truly the great love of Ashley's life. They married in 2014 and created their home in Emigration Canyon. Ashley's love of plants, herbs, flowers and the influence of her beloved grandmother's green thumb, created a beautiful creek side garden, complete with a spiritual labyrinth, one of many Ashley and Stefan projects. They had recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary with a wonderful trip to Hawaii.

Ashley is survived by her husband Stefan Bach, mother Claire Clark, sister Roxanne Clark, nephew Richard Espino-Clark. Extended family include uncles, Steven Harrison (Claudia), Rodger Harrison (Edie), Fred Harrison (Ruth), Bill Harrison (Mary), Aunt Susan Gammon (Paul), and 17 cousins. Ashley was preceded in death by her uncles Gerald Clark (Leslie), Tom Harrison (Sue), cousin Kevin Clark (Domini), and her beloved father Richard D. Clark, whom she loved and adored her entire life. Ashley's memory and loving impact will live on in our hearts.
