Barbara Joy Hardman Taylor
March 26, 1932 - April 3, 2013
Barbara Joy Hardman Taylor
"Babso"
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and G.G passed away April 3, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
Barbara was born on March 26, 1932 in Salt Lake City to Jesse C. and Zelpha Vowels Hardman. She married O. Ross Taylor on December 15, 1950. She helped her husband build several successful business and supported his endeavors throughout their marriage. Together, they traveled to over 50 countries, which brought them great pleasure. Barbara liked golfing, bowling, fishing, reading and playing games; and once every month for many years, Barbara got together with her sisters for a card game marathon which was great fun. Above all, her family was the joy of her life and she loved doing everything with them, especially trips to Mexico.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 62 years; children Debbie Wilcox, Janet Taylor, Shelly and Scott Woolstenhulme, and Kris and Wayne Witzel; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother.
Barbara is joyfully reunited in heaven with her son Colin, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Private family services will be held. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.
Special thanks to sisters Carla, Marilyn, Leah and Helen for their support. Also Karen Keller and Adrianna Houton for their love and care. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Holly and the IMC Hospice Group.
If you wish to make a memorial donation, the family suggests The American Diabetes Association or Muscular Distrophy Association.
