In Loving Memory

To the dearest kids of Barb. Your mom loved you with all her heart. She always spoke so kindly of all of you. I know you will miss her, but I'm certain you have joy in knowing that while she was here, she was the best. The best at being a mother, the best at being a freind, and the best at what ever she set out to accomplish. She is the very definition of success. I am so happy to have had her in my life. Please stay in touch with my family. I will love to see you grow into old age as your mother did. With grace and courage. Take care, Tissy

Barb was a truly beautiful human being. She was kind. She was funny. She was thoughtful. She was a genuine delight to be around. I feel extremely fortunate to know her and her children, and to be particularly close with one of them. In many ways she felt like my Utah mom and Nate is the closest thing I've ever had to a brother. My life is better because I knew Barb and I hope to bring half as much joy and love those around me that she did.   From "the dark of the night"... I’ll miss you, Barb.
