In Loving Memory
My first elecrtical job after trade school was at a mine in Tonopah , Nevada. I had just turned 22 had a brand new wife I brought with me and I was green as grass . Ben and I were partners off and on for the 4 years the mine was open. He was the old man being 20 yrs my senior, Ben taught me a lot and not only about electricity, he was a great person and a great partner, had lots of good life stories as well to pass the time . After the mine closed in jan 1985 we lost track of each other, no google or cell phones back then.I remember the day we were to check some high voltage on a shovel , 4160 volts , when we pulled up the machine was dead quite, normally you could hear the tranformers humming when power was on , anyway I was going to save the old mans legs and climb into the high voltage , Ben said not yet, had better go check and make sure the main feed to the machine was off, it was not. Good chance I would have been kiiled if Ben hadn't stopped me, Always loved Ben and always will, Sorry for your loss , Ross Huber

Steve and I would like to tell Aunt Kathy, Laura, Wade, Lisa and the rest of their family and Uncle Ben's family how sorry we are to hear of his passing! We wish we could've been there to show our respect but Steve is recovering from surgery. Uncle Ben was a very nice man of few words who was a tremendous blessing when he came into the lives of Aunt Kathy and her children. He and Aunt Kathy have did a wonderful job of raising Laura, Wade, and Lisa! I remember visiting Uncle Ben while he was a campground host at Strawberry. He loved to camp and fish and he was certainly in his happy place at that time! When we were in Nauvoo, Steve and I had also met some neighbors of Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ben's while they were in Heber. This missionary couple had nothing but praise for Uncle Ben and Aunt Kathy as neighbors! He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed!
