Benjamin Khan
July 31, 1995 - March 23, 2016
Ben was a kind, loving, generous, and genuine young man who aimed to enjoy life to its fullest. No matter where he went or who he was with, he was smiling and ready to tell a joke at any moment. He led quietly but confidently and his loyalty was unmatched. His mischievous smile left everyone feeling warm inside and his laughter brightened every room. His personality was contagious.
He made his presence known throughout the house with a constant hum of his favorite song, quite often followed by quotes from his favorite movies.
Ben made us all better people. He reminded us that there is always time to relax and smile.
He was an avid reader and he loved his costumes. He adored and loved his animals even though he was allergic to them – which did not stop him from enjoying their company.
He was there for others in their time of need, no matter the circumstance, and his positive spirit helped others find the good in not so good times.
He was our relief in hard times and our shoulder to cry on. He always knew just what to say. We will miss you Ben, until we can all be together again. We love you.
Friends are invited to celebrate Ben's life on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Please use complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 East South Temple, Salt Lake City. Dear Farrukh, Pam and Alex, Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear about the loss of Ben. He was such a bright light in this world. His smile was contagious. He made me laugh more times than I can count, even when he was getting into trouble. I would try to stay serious and make him think I was mad, but then he would say something witty and I wouldn't be able to hold back a smile and then laughter no matter how hard I tried. Sending so much love, Andrea Sline

I had the opportunity to get to know Ben a little bit, over the last few months. Obviously, I only knew him for a short time, but his impact on me (& many others) was profound. He was a gentle, kind, loving, & generous young man. He was very much loved by those of us who got to spend time with him. I am sad that he is gone so soon. But, am incredibly grateful for the time that we had with him. Im so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
