Benjamin M. Suazo
September 3, 1959 - May 26, 2016
Our beloved Benji, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Marine. Passed into heaven peacefully May 26th, 2016. Benjamin served his country when he joined the Marine Corps. in 1979 as a machine gunner, where he spent time overseas in Hawaii, Australia, Africa, and Asia. Ben worked for the state for many years as a heavy equipment operator, was very skilled, and always generous. Ben loved spending time and parties with his family, where he was always known as the loving "Uncle Benji." His warm, affectionate charm will be truly missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Leticia Suazo; son, Dominic Suazo; siblings James (Maria), Cathy (Charlie), Mike, Diane (Harold), Lucy (Alex); and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1058 West 400 South, Salt Lake City, UT.
Inurnment to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. & "T" Street, Salt Lake City, UT.
