Betty Jean Schultz

February 21, 1942 - September 19, 2013

Betty passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 19th, 2013.

She was born February 21, 1942 in Salt Lake City. She married Glenn Lee Schultz Sr. on November 21, 1957, they later divorced. By profession, she was a seamstress for many years and enjoyed making clothing and quilts for her family and friends. Betty was adventurous and was happy to be outdoors. She loved the ocean, seashell hunting and board games. Betty was a member of the LDS church.

She is survived by her children Jackson (Brenda) Schultz, Dale (Reinette) Schultz, Glenn Schultz Jr., Betty (Kent) Hardman, Cory McDonald; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings Maxine Galvez, Ed Wineriter, Robert Wineriter and Florien Wineriter.

Preceeded in death by her son Steven Schultz, her grandson Todd Schultz, sister Marlene Cairus and brother Duane Wineriter.

Friends are invited to celebrate Betty's life on Wednesday, September 25th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building.

The family would like to thank the Avalon Care Center for the care they provided over the years.
