Beverly Roll
March 24, 1928 - January 15, 2008
Mom passed away peacefully January 15th 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born March 24th 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mary Edna and Charles Howard. She married Robert E. Roll in 1961; later divorced.
Mom started work at 13 years old and retired at 73. She held long term positions at Gibbons and Reed Construction Co. as an executive secretary and also at AT&T as a customer service representative. Mom was always cheerful and could brighten anyone's day. She was a warm-hearted person who was loving, caring and generous. She lived a very long and happy life.
She is survived by her son Robert H. (Waen) Roll; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; and many wonderful and loving friends, all of whom will miss her very much. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Lowell C. Howard.
Friends are welcome to share their loving memories of Beverly at a wake on Friday, January 18th from 6-8pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City where complimentary valet service will be provided. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 11:00am at Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork. Beverly loves flowers.
