At the age of 64

         “WE’VE LOST A GOOD ONE”!

We love you so much and will forever be grateful and blessed to have celebrated your life with you! Brent had such a beautiful spirit and contagious personality, never ever ashamed to be himself. Advice in terms of “Don’t sweat the small stuff”, “Choose easy” and “It is what it is”!

Brent was very active in the church during his younger years. His Mother helped him to earn his Eagle Scout Award which he was ecstatic about while extending his commitment to God and his country. Brent was very talented, smart, genuine, kindhearted, extremely generous and very much enjoyed sharing those qualities with his Family and Friends whom he adored with All of his Heart and Soul.

Brent loved to eat and have barbecues, bring some nice steaks and some king crab legs and it was basically his heaven. Loved golf, spent a lot of time with his friends and family golfing and drinking a few beers and a GALLON of whiskey. He always had people laughing and boy, did he laugh! Brent loved his business and was very successful in Bail Bonds “B&B Bail Bonds”. When given the opportunity Brent would SLAY (or lose horribly) at the poker table. But really… he was ridiculously good at it. He also had a very large Vocabulary of curse words and was great at Losing $50’s for it! Here’s to you Brent, see you again soon and maybe this time we will put the $50 dollars in your swear jar!

Brent often travelled and tried to get out of Utah as often as possible.

This man knew how to be a loyal and trustworthy friend and partner. May 27th 1997 he was married to the love of his life, his “Woman” Dusty!  A huge part of his soul died when Dusty left us August 17th 2010.  In his own way, he celebrated his 27th anniversary saying goodbyes and leaving us to join and lay with his One and Only True Love. Except for chocolate, that best be there waiting for him too!

Brent is survived by Brent “Lucus” Taylor and Angela McMerdie his children, grandsons Bentley, Antonio “Tony” and Axel.  Siblings; Jeanine Davidson (Will), Kathleen Whiting (Shane), Daren Taylor (Tyra), Aunts and Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends who are like family.

Preceded in death by; Lorraine “Dusty” Taylor, Janet Jamima Llewelyn Taylor Fink, Delbert Taylor, David Llewelyn Taylor, Uncle Mel Taylor, Grandparents; Fay and Mina Llewelyn, Stanley and Mildred Taylor, Great Nephew William, Great Niece Indy Llew.

A celebration of life and viewing will be on Wednesday, June 19th from 6-8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Wine, Beer and Appetizers will be served. Guests are encouraged to park on the north side of the building.

A graveside service will be on Thursday, June 20 at 10:00 AM at Redwood Memorial Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan.
