Brent Harley Randall

June 14, 1945 - March 1, 2019

Brent passed away peacefully, due to complications of diabetes, March 1, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 14, 1945 to Kenneth and Gertrude Randall. He met his wife Dana Tolley Randall at Lincoln Junior High and they’ve been together ever since. They've been married for 56 years.

He worked in the construction industry his whole life. His hobbies including hunting, golfing, camping, barbecuing and spending time by the family pool with his children and grandchildren.

One of my Dad’s signature moves was teasing everyone and giving friends and family and co- workers nicknames that lasted their whole lives.

After his retirement, to keep busy he became a crossing guard for Riverton Elementary. He fell in love with the kids he crossed and they loved him in return.

He leaves behind his heartbroken family; his loving wife Dana, son Scott (Deb), daughters Brooke and Paige, his 9 grandchildren- Cameron (Bethany), Danielle (J.D.), Caitlin (Dennis), MaCall (Braxton), Madison (Jesse), Britton, Keaton, Hannah, Kenadie and his precious great grandchildren Kenzi, Daxyn, Jessi and Jayden.

Loving Brother Ken, sister Karen, special sister in law Suz and ex son in law Mike Anthon who remained a close friend.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

Dana, Scott, Paige and Brooke, So sorry to hear of Brent's passing. He was such a loyal colleague and friend of ours through the years of working together. He had a special bond with Dad, (Weston) they had a wonderful relationship, and he was respected by all in the construction industry. I remember as a young boy driving with my Dad and picking up Brent on 1300 east to go to a job together in the mornings. Thank you for sharing his life with all of us and may God Bless you in the days and years ahead as you think of him every minute and cherish those wonderful and happy memories. Much love, Ryan Daw

To the family, I am truly sorry for your loss. The Bible gives me a wonderful hope of a life without sickness and death. Isaiah 33:24 says that soon “no resident will say I am sick.” What a fantastic thing that will be when we no longer suffer from illness, or watch our loved ones suffer. We will get to see them again soon in perfect health. 1 Corinthians 15:26.
