Brett Thomas Willie

October 29, 1979 - November 18, 2016

Brett was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Reynold D. and Jane Pasimeni Willie. He was the beginning of their wonderful family. Brett loved the great outdoors, adventures with his family, and cars. He graduated with honors from East High, earned his Eagle Scout and was a Master Auto Tech by profession. He was a very compassionate and concerned son, brother, father and friend. His greatest joy is his son Brody.

He is survived by his family: son Brody and Tyrra; his parents Ren and Jane; sisters, Robyn (Jake), and Lauren; brother Don (Jen); nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Thank you to all who have touched Brett's life and to the medical professionals who were there for him.

A visitation will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106 on Tuesday, November 22 from 6pm-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the education fund for his son, Brody Willie at any Zion's Bank location.

In Loving Memory

I knew Brett for 31 yrs. We went to kindergarten together & all thru school. He was my friend even when he wasn't. He was in my same ward growing up too. I'll never forget him he was a great guy.

I've known Brett since I was in junior high. He was a part of my family and always such a fun brother in-law. He was always helping my family with car repairs, and cracking jokes. We are so heartbroken for your loss, and sending prayers to your family.

Brett and I were good friends back in the day. We'd always figure out something fun to do. You could catch us biking up at the U, doing car stuff, going on double dates, or loading up on discounted donuts at Dan's bakery late nights. He was truly a great friend and I'll never forget the memories we had.
