C. Bruce Miller

July 1, 1931 - December 13, 2021

Bruce was born on July 1, 1931 to Clyde and Delores Miller. He was the second born out of 5 brothers who are all deceased. He was raised in a small home on “J” Street with his. brothers, mother, grandmother and sometimes father.  He would kid with a friend who would say, “We had an ice Box for our fridge,” and Bruce would reply “you had a icebox”. He attended West High School and graduated with honors and a football scholarship to the University of Utah.  Leaving after two Years, he joined the Navy. After his millitary service he returned to the University and was editor of the school newspaper and graduated with a BS in journalism. He joined Kall Radio as their news anchorman; travelling extensively and also covering the Vietnam War.  He married the love of his life Patty Thomas, having one son Ryan Miller.  Bruce later left to join Terracor Financial Corporation later becoming Leucadia Financial Corporation. 

He is survived by his wife Patty Miller, son Ryan Miller and two wonderful grandchildren, Tessa and Daphne MIller. He was an honest, fair and kind man.

There will be no services at this time.

Patty Dear Friend, so sad for your loss and stunned as last visit we had he was venturing to Article Circle for ice cream!  I remember bridge at your first home and Bruce writing you romantic, clever poems.  So glad you have Starks as they were my angels helping with everything with such caring and class.
