Charles Archuletta

March 17, 1948 - February 9, 2024

Charles' friendly and warm demeanor instantly drew people to him… it was his gift.

Throughout his lifetime, Charles battled a multitude of serious health issues which ultimately resulted in his passing Feb 9th at the University of Utah hospital.

Charles was proud of his service in the military. As a cradle Catholic, and the child of a devout Catholic mother, Charles read his scriptures every morning without fail. Charles served as an usher at St. Ann Church until his health issues prevented him from continuing. Through his work, Charles fought for the rights of the underprivileged, giving them a voice in a world that often ignores their plight. Charles was meticulous to a fault, believing that cleanliness was next to godliness. Charles cherished God, family, friends, a cold beer, and life above all else. Rest in peace, dear brother!

Charles' passing is preceded by his mother Beatrice A Lujan, father C. A., brother Fidel, brother Billy, brother David.

Charles is survived by his son Charley Archuleta, (5 grandchildren), brother Johnny, sisters Jackie and Peggy, numerous nephews and nieces, along with his dear and special friend Katie Rottman.

Upon his passing, Charles requested a funeral mass and private interment with family and close friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 21 at 12:00 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115. He will be laid to rest follwing mass at Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Forever free of your frail, broken and unforgiving body, brother.
