Charles Richard Benson Jr.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Chaz Benson, loving husband, father, and friend. He was born June 3, 1968 in Utah to Richard Benson and Betty Gurule.

He loved his large family and was so proud of his two children. His passion was in automotive which he learned as young boy from his dad leading into his profession as a Service

Manager. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and making memories with friends and family bringing laughter and life to those around him.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Benson, children Tyler (Alex) VanOrman and Savannah Benson, grandsons, Bradley, Jameson, and Oliver. Along with his mother Betty Gurule, siblings Veronica Wolf, John Benson, Matt (Paulette) Benson, Ben Benson, Shelia (Mike) Rowe, Michelle (Shayne) Hudson and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by, Charles Benson, Kandy Benson, and Gary Benson.

A celebration of his life will be held at Starks Funeral Parloron Thursday, May 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to park in the north parking lot. There will be an open mic for those who wish to share a few words. Graveside dedication will be at the St George City Cemetery on Friday, May 13 at 2:30 pm.
