Cheryl Diane Roach-Poole

June 21, 1968 - April 2, 2015

Cheryl Diane, our stunning, beautiful, talented daughter and sister, passed away on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015.  She loved her family and friends deeply.  She loved everything about horses and her beloved dog, Louie.  She was naturally gifted at so many things and had a pure love of life.  She loved all kinds of music but Sting was her all-time favorite. If music was playing anywhere in Cheryl’s world, she was the first one singing and dancing.  Those memories of her will always be vibrant to those who loved her. While we mourn the physical presence and beauty of her on this earth, we will hold her memory and love close to our hearts forever more. Be free and joyful Cheryl. May you ride horses with your beloved dog Louie running beside you and Dad cheering you on for all eternity. We love you with every inch of our hearts and souls.

Love always!

Mom, Amy, Carol, Mike, Max, Shay, all of your family back in Virginia and numerous friends around the world.

Forever in our hearts.

Please join us for amemorial service celebrating the life of Cheryl Diane Roach-Poole on Friday, April 10th at 7:00 PM at South Valley Unitarian Church, 6876 S. Highland Drive, Cottonwood Heights, UT.  We will be gathering together to celebrate her loving spirit.

To my beautiful and precious sister, Cheryl. We were 10 months apart in age and grew up side-by-side through the years. You always think you'll grow old together in this world but sometimes GOD has another plan. I will remember her joy of life and smile forever. She was so naturally gorgeous, had so many talents and had a heart as big as the galaxy. I know you are finally liberated and free of any pain. When I see a rainbow, I will think of you. You have my heart forever and I will never stop thinking about you. I love you always.

Cheryl was so cool. One of the most beautiful girls at PCH. I remember thinking how much she outclassed me and that someone like that would never associate themselves with a dorky guy like me. But she did. Cheryl was one of those rare people who would look beyond the exterior see the person within. We reconnected at our 25th HS reunion and had so much fun. To my delight she got in touch shortly after and we stayed in contact. I hadn't communicated with her in several months and wish I had that time back to let her know what she meant to me. She was a very special. Love you and miss you Cheryl.

I was/am very touched and uplifted by the service that was held in Cheryl's honor, from which I have just arrived home. It and all those who participated was wonderful. My condolences go out to Sandra and the many, many others who will never forget Cheryl and have vivid memories of their interactions with her that lifted them and touched them for eternity. ATOA.
