Cheryl Perkins Green, 72
Cheryl Perkins Green passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, surrounded by those closest to her. She was born in 1953 to Clarence Perkins and Edith Elaine Hatch. Growing up in a large family helped shape the strong, spirited, and quick-witted woman she became. The youngest of eight children, Cheryl was raised in Farmington, Utah, where she developed the strong character and deep love for family that would define her life.
Cheryl graduated from Davis High School and began her career working for the Davis County Attorney’s Office, however, for most of her life she worked alongside her husband, George Diumenti, at their law firm as a paralegal and office manager. Her intellect, organization, empathy, and life experience allowed her to support people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. She took great pride in her work and was deeply committed to helping others.
She found joy in spending time with her animals, tending to her garden, reading, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Cheryl especially loved traveling, ATV adventures, road trips, and she treasured the many evenings spent with family and friends, sharing conversation and laughter. Some of Cheryl’s most cherished memories were family trips. Cheryl and George shared one daughter, Annie, with whom she had an especially close and loving bond.
Intelligent, kind, caring, humorous, and incredibly resilient, she had a sharp mind and a natural curiosity about the world, but what people remember most about Cheryl was her heart. She listened carefully, spoke honestly, and carried a quiet strength that helped others through difficult times. Her sense of humor was one of her most beloved traits; quick, clever, and often delivered with perfect timing. She faced life’s challenges with determination and grace, always finding ways to keep moving forward with optimism and courage.
Cheryl battled various health issues in recent years. Despite these challenges, she never stopped fighting and never lost her humor or her love for life. Her courage, determination, and unwavering spirit made her a powerful example of strength in the face of adversity and an inspiration to all who knew her.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Annie Perkins (Drew Goerke); her sisters, Louise (Dale) Hall and Lorna (Larry) Price; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her brothers, Clarence Lamar Perkins, Merl D Perkins, Verl J Perkins, and Ray Hatch Perkins; and her sister, Elda Marie Huff.
