Christine Mills
March 2, 1958 - February 2, 2025

Our beloved, Christine Mills, of Draper, UT, passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 2nd, 2025, after years of battling chronic illness.
Christine was born on March 2nd, 1958 to Nick and Georgia Karpakis in Salt Lake City, UT. In 1975, during her junior year of High School, she began dating her childhood friend, Cory. They soon fell in love and were wed during the summer of 1978. After graduating from Cyprus High School, she went on to study cosmetology and ultimately decided to pursue a career at UPS where she would later retire 25 years later. Christine was predeceased by her father, Nick, mother, Georgia, brother, Chris, and sister, Kathy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Cory, sons, Jason and Steven, daughter, Katelyn (Trevor), and adoring granddaughter, Taitym. Christine also leaves behind a loving supportive group of relatives including aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nephews, and many friends.
Christine was a big personality in a small package. She lived her life to the fullest, despite her many challenges, and yet never once complained or asked for anything in return. She had an amazing sense of humor, known for her exaggerated facial expressions, and silly sayings. Her wit was razor sharp and she could talk to anyone for hours if they’d let her. She was kind, generous, and compassionate; always choosing to see the good in people, and often took care of others, sometimes to the exclusion of her own needs. She loved music; all of it; and loved to show off her dance moves. An avid animal-lover and green thumb, she enjoyed spending time with her dog, taking care of her plants, and soaking up the sunshine on the back patio.
Christine will be desperately missed by all those she’s left behind. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
We will honor Christine’s life with funeral services being held on Saturday, February 15th at St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church, 9201 S 1300 E, Sandy. There will be a viewing from 10 – 11 AM, with a funeral service immediately following. She will be laid to rest, following funeral services at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City.
Following the interment, a Makaria (memorial luncheon) will be held at St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church, 9201 S 1300 E, Sandy, to celebrate Christine’s life. The family extends a gracious invitation to all who are able to attend and commemorate her memory.

In Loving Memory
A light that ignited every room she walked in. Her smile warmed your heart and touch that comforted your soul. Heaven gained the brightest angel. May her family, friends, and loved ones take comfort in knowing she rests easily at the Right Hand of God.
Dear Cory and family, so sad after all of the years that she had to suffer all of this time in the hospital, and of course all of the years in between. Chris was a beautiful and very friendly woman, I will not be able to attend her service, but I want to express my deepest sympathy

Christine- I need to thank you for bringing my best friend into this world, and giving her your best traits. Dance moves for days, fiery passion, courage to speak the truth, and the purest empathy ♡ also, thank you for caring about me and welcoming me into your home, even when I was a bit of a rascal, back in the day ;) you'll always be one of my favorite mama bears. My heart goes out to you and your family. Rest in Peace (and bring the Dance party to the heavens - we'll join you one day, and I expect to learn some new moves from you on the other side)
