Colby Michael Cooper

July 15, 1992 - April 24, 2016

Our beautiful, wonderful son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and cousin passed unexpectedly from this world to the next on April 24th, 2016 doing what he loved most, riding his ATV.

Colby was born on July 15th, 1992 in Murray, Utah to Jodi Lynne Brundage Cooper and Michael Steven Cooper. He graduated from Hunter High School in 2011 and went on to be a memb er of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #312 since 2012. Becoming a fourth generation Tinner.

He loved his family and friends dearly. He loved skateboarding, long boarding, riding BMX bikes, snowboarding, camping, hiking and ATV riding. He loved his Pittsburgh Steelers. Colby had a glowing kind spirit and a big heart that affected everybody around him. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.

He is survived by his parents; brothers Matthew and Nathan; sisters Shae Ramirez and Ashley (Andrew) Nunley; nieces Saige, Alexis and Terra; grandparents Judith Brundage, Michael Cooper, Nancy (Gordon) Holt; and many extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his grandfather Eugene Brundage; uncles Robert Brundage, Kelly Brundage; and great grandparents.

A celebration of Colby's life will be held on Monday, May 2nd from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where casual dress is welcomed. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building. He will be laid to rest during a private family graveside service at Elysian Burial Gardens.

We were out in the same area riding that day Colby lost his life doing what he loved and came upon the scene. It was a beautiful day to be out riding. Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and all of his friends.
