Connie Lee Marshall
May 23, 1962 - May 23, 2023
Connie Lee Marshall passed away all too soon on May 23, 2023. She was born on May 23, 1962 to Clinton James Redlin and Dona Mae Whitehead Redlin, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She met her soulmate and love of her life, Dennis Marshall, at a family wedding in 1981. Soon after, they married on October 15, 1982, and enjoyed 36 years by each other’s sides. They raised two children, Jeffrey Gerald and Nicole Ashlee, their utmost pride and joy.
She graduated from Kearns High School in 1980. As a young mother and working full time, she dutifully earned her B.S. in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Utah State University in 2004. Her strong work ethic, dedication and commitment was reflected throughout her successful career. At 19, she began working at Questar Gas as a secretary and later retired at age 60 after serving as Director of Accounting.
She will be remembered for her generous spirit, kindness, keen attention to detail, and her love and dedication for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, bingo, all things romance, and especially Christmas. Most of all, her greatest source of joy was spoiling her grandbabies.
She is survived by her loving son, Jeffrey (Samnang) Marshall, her daughter and best friend, Nicki (John) Barrett, her grandchildren, Connor Gerald Marshall, Henry Oliver Marshall, Reinette Hartlee Barrett, and Aviendha Nicole Barrett; siblings Barbara (Penny) Redlin, Charlie (Linda) Redlin, and Kathy Redlin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Marshall, parents Clinton James Redlin, Dona Mae Whitehead Redlin, and brother Michael (Donna) Redlin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 6-8PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Millcreek, Utah. Guests are encouraged to use parking and entrance on the north side of the building. She will be laid to rest privately.
In Loving Memory
Precious Marshall Family, Our hearts and prayers are with you all. We are so sorry to see your sweet mom go so soon. We will remember her laughter and conversation at parties, as well as her love for her children and grandchildren. I can't imagine there are more spoiled grandchildren in all of the world with how much she adored your kids. My mind will always go back to those memories when I think of her. God bless you with comfort, peace, and continued beautiful memories of her. With love, The Veth Family Voeun, Kristen, Jessica, Jacob, and Josephina

I am so saddened that such an amazing, kind and caring person as Connie is gone from her family and friends so quickly. Connie has my eternal gratitude for her daily texts, home visits and hospital visits when Ellen was ill. Ellen considered Connie her confidante and BFF. They shared 35 years at Questar together. My thoughts and prayers are with Connie's children and grandchildren. Your mom was the best.

I have great memories of Connie as I am sure you do. Lean on them to give you strength and use them to remind you of the Joy she had in every day. She will always be a part of you and everyone she touched. Thank you, Connie, for all you were and in many ways still are. You are loved and will be missed.

Jeff, Nicki and families We've been at a loss for words since hearing about your mother's passing. She was a great friend for many years. We watched you grow up through her eyes and her stories. You were the focus of her life, and we share your grief at her sudden passing. Surely she is still watching out for you. May you find peace and comfort at this time.
