Cynthia Lu Jimenez
November 15, 1991 - April 3, 2016
Cynthia Lu Jimenez was born November 15, 1991 in Sacramento, CA to Jennifer Lu and Albert Jimenez. She passed away April 3, 2016 at the age of 24. She grew up in Sacramento, CA and moved to Salt Lake City in 2011 to live with her mother and stepfather Dr. Bill Halden.
Cindy was truly a one of a kind and anybody who has met her could see how huge her heart was and how much love and compassion she had for the world. She brought love and kindness to everyone she met. She always wanted to help and was at her happiest when she knew she was helping others. She pushed the limits of life with her strong spirit. She was giving by nature, always wanting to give more. With her corneas, two individuals will be able to see the beauty she saw in the world.
Cindy loved hanging out with friends, listening to music, travel, shopping, cats, kung fu, skiing, horse back riding and even skydiving. Cindy was employed as office manager at Investment Management Consultants.
Cindy is survived by her mother Jennifer Lu Halden; her father Al. Jimenez; her brother Michael Jimenez; her stepfather Bill Halden; her maternal grandmother Lu Yao Cha Lin; her paternal grandmother Kyoko Jimenez; her aunts Ingrid Knox, Joanne Wu, Vicky Lu, Eileen Rohde, Nancy Wu and Linda Barbosa; her uncles Peter Lu, Ernie & Dave Jimenez; her step-siblings Nick, Ginny and Derek Halden; many beloved cousins; and her cherished family dog Roxy.

In Loving Memory
I am so sorry for your loss. There are only sweet and kind words to describe what type of person Cindy was/is. I am immensely grateful to her for her friendship and love! She attended my wedding on the first and was incredible! She insisted on helping my family, making sure everything went perfectly- they, too, grew to love her. I will never forget how beautiful she looked and how happy she was! Thank you for her.

I have nothing but happy memories of the beautiful young, spirited Cindy who spent so many of her childhood days with us. I considered her like my second daughter.David and Fawn thought of her as another sister. My heart aches for the pain and sadness I know all of you are feeling. What a terrible loss. I only hope that you will all find some level of comfort knowing what a beautiful impression Cindy left on those she touched.

The video was so nice, so many loving memories. May you find comfort from knowing that God care and promise that sickness, pain, even death will be a thing of the past.(Revelation 21:3,4). As we awaited this promise may you all allow God word to comfort and strength your family. May God be with you all.
