Cynthia Petrina Chamberlain Beach

August 12, 1982 - January 14, 2018

Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away peacefully in her home on January 14, 2018 due to complications of diabetes.

She was born the youngest of six children on August 12, 1982 in Sandy, Utah. As the youngest, she developed a close relationship and deep bond with her mother, Carla. She spent most of her childhood living with her at her family's home in West Jordan.

Cynthia enjoyed everything that was beautiful. She found pleasure in her work as a cosmetologist, helping others look and feel their best. In her spare time, she enjoyed designing and crafting new items for her home. She especially loved creating holiday decorations and photo collages for her family members' birthdays.

From a young age, Cynthia hoped to become a mother. At 27, she was gifted her first child, Boston, and later, her daughter Berkley. The two were her world. She was actively involved with her children's lives at home, school, and in extra curricular activities. She spent many days watching over Boston at recess and was his number one fan at his sporting events.

She enjoyed family gatherings with her mother Carla (Greg) Cox; siblings Jeff (Julie) Austin, Rhonda (Joey) Marks, and Micah (Stephanie) Chamberlain; and nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 22nd from 6-8 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor 3651 S. 900 E, Salt Lake City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23 at 10:00 AM at 1239 West Country Creek Drive (10775 So.) South Jordan, where friends may call upon the family one hour prior.

She will be laid to rest with her brother Clinton Jay Austin and sister Jennifer Gwen Austin on Tuesday, January 23rd at Herriman City Cemetery, 12465 South Pioneer Street, Herriman.

In Loving Memory

I am so sorry to hear about this. I loved Cynthia very much. She was beautiful. For a few years, living across the street from each other, she was like the little sister I never had. I remember cooking together and watching Newsies. She always wanted to sleep with her mom's pillow because it smelled like her. I am so so sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss. Certainly the death of one we dearly love is very saddening. I too have experienced such heart break over someone near and dear to me. Revelation 21:4 has provided comfort for me, where is says "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore"

Cynthia is an amazing person. I wish she could have known what a special spirit she is. She made my life better just by being my friend and making me look presentable. I hope her adorable children will carry on her legacy and the family will help them know who she was. I hope to see you in heaven, Cynthia.

My heart is broken knowing that Cynthia is gone. She was such a caring friend and I have so many great memories with her over the 26 years we've known each other. She had such a kind and loving heart and I'll never forget her being there for me during some of my best and worst times. To her family- I'm so sorry for your loss and the pain that you all must be going through. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time.

I just met Cynthia maybe 6 months ago & in that short amount of time it feels like a lifetime with her & she has truly touched me in a way that she will never be forgotten. She's 1 of the most beautiful amazing nicest friendly easy going person with a heart of gold that I've ever had the privilege to have met in my lifetime. She Taught me it's ok to luv again & her kindness helped me thru a lot of bad moments in my life & if she can hear me in the after life I wana say thank u for that & that I truly did luv u & will always luv u!! My heart & prayers goes out to ur family & kids. It saddens me for Boston & Berkley to have lost their mother but something tells me Cynthia will be watching down upon them like an angle from above guiding them like she did me. I could feel the luv she had for Berkley & Boston Just by the way she talked about them or acted around them. Berkley & Boston I want u to knw your Mom truly loved you unconditionally. She is someone that if you had met woulda definitely brought a smile to your face. I pray one day after I pass I'm able to embrace your beautiful smile & once again be next to u....my luv for you will never stop so as your in the heavens I'll look up & think of you...reflect upon your beautiful smile....reminisce of the way your eyes light up when you laugh...i think of your love & once again one day look forward to seeing you. So until that moment comes these words are my love for you to hear in the heavens & feel in your heart.....your memory will be forever in my heart & never fade. Micah, Stephanie, Jeff, Julie, Carla, Greg, Rhonda and Joey, I'm so grateful for the inclusion I have felt from your family in the last (almost) 25 years. Cynthia brought laughter and joy and fun (and Kneader's sandwiches!) into my life - and my life is better for it. I love you all and you are in my prayers - always.
