Dalila Mendoza Aguilar
September 10, 1981 - June 1, 2024
Dalila Mendoza Aguilar passed away on June 1st, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah surrounded by those who deeply loved her.
She was born September 10th, 1981 in Michoacan, Mexico to Victor Manuel Mendoza and Amparo Aguilar de Mendoza.
As a first-generation Mexican American citizen, she always tried to give her children opportunities she never had. She always supported her children in their wildest dreams and always told them that anything was possible with studying and hard work. She loved spending time with her family and traveling to different places to make memories with them. Dalila showed her love in the way she made delicious meals for her family. We can never forget how she was happiest having dinner with her whole entire family. Mom’s favorite memories are when grandma would make Menudo and invite the whole family.
She loved listening to music, there are countless memories her children share where we would be awoken by her playing music and doing some of the household cleaning. She loved to dance whenever she was able to. Every Christmas she would always want everyone to wear pajamas and sing some karaoke.
Dalila loved to take care of plants and had a little garden in the backyard that she always took care of and treated them like her children. Her favorite flowers were orchids and she loved blue parakeets.
She leaves behind her husband Carlos Carrillo Delgado, who she loved unconditionally and in return he loved her the same. Dalila is also survived by her children Victor Alexander Carrillo-Mendoza, Xytlaly Carrillo-Mendoza and Carlos Junior Carrillo-Mendoza; and her siblings Jorge Luis Mendoza, Antonio Mendoza, Yessica Mendoza and Guadalupe Mendoza.
She is met in heaven by her father Victor Manuel Mendoza.
