Dana J. Randall
November 7, 1945 - August 22, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Dana Jone Randall (Tolley), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 22, 2024, at the age of 78, in Bluffdale, Utah. Born on November 7, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Max Douglas Tolley and Vesta Stauffer Tolley.
In her youth, Dana attended South High School. She found the love of her life Brent Harley Randall, during her middle school years, and they were married on December 28, 1962. They were married 57 years until his death in 2019.
Professionally, Dana dedicated herself to a rewarding career at Becton and Dickinson.
Throughout her tenure, she was esteemed by her colleagues and formed deep and lasting bonds, particularly with close friends Cheryl Whipple, Judy Lund and Brenda Nim. Her retirement marked the end of a new distinguished career yet the beginning of cherished times with family and friends.
Dana embraced life with a passion for family gatherings, known for her lively pool parties, barbecues, extravagant holidays and fun trips with her family and friends. Her radiant spirit was the centerpiece at each family celebration, infusing joy and love into these cherished moments.
Dana was famous for her Danaisms and she was such a good sport when lovingly being teased about them.
Left to honor Dana's memory are her devoted son, Scott Randall (and wife Debra), her cherished daughters, Brooke Anthon and Paige Cavanaugh, as well as nine beautiful grandchildren who she loved so very much. Cameron (Bethany) Johnson, Danielle Bowman, MaCall (Josh) Siegel, Madison (Jesse) Geisler, Caitlin Debolt, Britton Randall, Keaton (Emily) Anthon, Hannah Cavanaugh, Kenadie Cavanaugh and Eight great-grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life. Kenzi, Skylee, Daxyn, Jessi, Jayden, Silas, Evee and Aria. Her brother, Dwight (Kris) Tolley, Kevin (Kristy) Tolley, Mike (Janice) Tolley and her loving sister Suz Tolley. There were so many special people in Dana's life including, Mike Anthon, Aizik Bianchi, Douglas Snelson ,Sally Snow and many cousins,nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Dana now joins her treasured husband, Brent Harley Randall, her loving parents, and her dear brother Craig Tolley, who have preceded her in death.
The family wishes to thank Dana's nurse, Jenna and CNA Mike and social worker Nyshea from Utah Home and Health Hospice. They truly showed her love and respect during these last few months.
The family invites you to join them in a service to commemorate the life of Dana Jone Randall. A memorial service will be on September 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
In memory of Dana, a woman of kindness, and enduring love, we celebrate a life profoundly impacting all who had the honor of knowing her. She shall be profoundly missed, her memory forever etched in the hearts of those she touched.

My condolences to Dana's family and friends. I had the privilege of working with Dana at BD Medical for many years in our capacity as Production Supervisors. We reconnected on Facbook where I enjoyed her posts and comments on mine in particular the love she had for my little Harley an English Bulldog. Godspeed Dana on you new journey, you will be missed.
