Daniel MarkBrotherson

April 2, 1959 - May 3, 2016

Daniel Mark Brotherson, age 57, took his last breath on May 3, 2016 due to complications of lung cancer.  Born April 2, 1959 to Faye and Hal Brotherson. Danny had two older brothers Randy and Michael.

He married Connie Jensen November 17, 1978. And ever since they were inseparable. Danielle, their only child, was born December 12, 1979. Danielle and her husband John Cleveland were their best friends. Danny loved his grandchildren Gavin, Chris, Jordan, Haedyn and Nevaeh. Two days before his death he became a great-grandpa. He also loved his min pins Tuffi and Taffi.

He owned two businesses and worked in the countertop/cabinet industry until he had to retire due to his health.

Danny was very compassionate, caring for his mother and brother, Mike, prior to their deaths. He was like a father to his nephews, Brok and Cody especially after Mike passed.

Danny loved sports and particularly enjoyed playing poker;  he was looking forward to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas the end of May, but it wasn't to be as the Lord called him home.

He spent the last three weeks of his life at the intensive care unit at LDS Hospital where he made new friends with his caregivers. A special thanks to his friends and relatives who called and visited him. His last request was for everyone to quit smoking.

Services for Daniel will be held at a later date.

In Loving Memory

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Daniel's family and friends. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Daniel, I wanted to share with you comfort from Gods word found in John 5:28,29. Jesus showed us a wonderful example of the resurrection when he resurrected Lazarus here on earth, back to the arms of those he loved. (John 11) Remember also that our Heavenly Father expresses his loving compassion for all of us when someone we love dies. (Psalm 34:18) Be sure to share your memories with those who surround you, for the memories shared are the ones most truly cherished, may they bring you a sense of peace and joy to your hearts as you begin to heal. Take care of yourselves and each other during this very difficult time.

I miss my brother-in-law. He took such good care of my sister and they truly were inseparable up to his last breath. Connie did everything she could for him. He was so positive and strong and endured to the end. He set a good example for all of us.
