To the Family, so sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Darla has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God's Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ. To my Aunt Darla a.k.a my second mom I will always cherish all the wonderful memories that we have shared. I will always remember that you took me to my very first concert which of course was Def Leppard. I will always remember that you loved to make others happy. like when Brandon and I were kids you somehow found green and pink shoelaces so that we could go out trick or treating dressed up like the Ultimate Warrior. I will always remember that even though Brandon and I got into lots of mischief together like mixing all the shampoo, conditioners, toothpaste, shaving foam and whatever else we could find in the bathroom. You still always welcomed me back the next weekend I will always remember that you were someone that I admired because despite your all your hardships you treated others with love, understanding and compassion You were such a wonderful woman and I'm grateful that I had you in my life. Until we meet again. So long Jenn

Darla always had a beautiful smile for everyone and was so generous. Anytime our residents would make things to raise money for their outings or to do a Sub for Santa during the holidays, Darla was the first one in line to buy up most of the things they had made. She said she loved buying the things they had made because each was so unique. Darla will be greatly missed, not only because of her generosity but because of her friendship and compassion for everyone. Work won't be the same without you. Darla will forever be in our hearts.

Darla was a childhood friend of mine. I remember sleepovers with her, Margie and Marilyn at Darlene's. I remember going to the park and goofing off. When she was a young Mom, I would go to her house about every 6 weeks and bring her about 10 books and trade them out when I came again. She moved unexpectedly and I lost touch with her until about 5 years ago. Thank God for Facebook. She will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss her.

Sis I don't even know where to begin. You meant everything to me and I will miss you always. Sitting here listening to songs that reminded me of you and all the times we called and talked about our kids or Marge and Nannie. I want you to know we all miss you. I will try to always be there for the boys if they ever just want to talk. You had a heart of Gold and was willing to listen to me about anything even if you didn't agree with how i felt. Remember what you and I talked about on the couch at your house the last time I saw you. Please take care of Levi and love him like I know you do until I can be with him. You will forever and always live on in all of our hearts ... I WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER LOVE YOU SIS
