Darlene Mary Lang

Darlene was a loving wife, mother, nana and friend to many. She was born in Spokane, Washington and attended Catholic Schools though Graduation. She raised her children Mark and Desa in the faith and was blessed to have her husband Wes join the faith in later years which made her very happy.
As a family, they spent some time in Hawaii, Washington, Utah, Nevada and retired back to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Darlene was an avid tennis player and was very involved in the sport. She volunteered for Intermountain Tennis Association for several years. She had many friends that shared her passion and love for the game.
Nana was the most loving grandmother and never missed any of Josh, Lexie or Joey's events. Her family and husband were her life. They recently celebrated 65 years of marriage.
The last few years she struggled with Alzheimer's Disease. Her husband and daughter were with her for her final passing. She leaves behind a heartbroken family that knows she is at peace with her son and family that were waiting for her with open arms.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, August 29 at 2:00 PM at Mount Calvary Cemetery,
275 U Street, Salt Lake City.
