David Lynn Bell
May 17, 1970 - August 12, 2017
David Lynn Bell, age 47, passed away August 12, 2017 from complications while battling cancer.
Dave was a luminary in the rock climbing community. He set up hundreds of climbing routes along the Wasatch Front, built some of the first indoor rock gyms and founded Pusher climbing holds company. Dave and his wife Jill started Bell Organic in 1998. Dave enjoyed spending time on community supported agriculture, bringing people together while inspiring members and volunteers alike. Dave's magnetic personality and easygoing temperament made him a friend and mentor to many.
Dave is survived by his wife Jill and children Caroline, Anna, Max and River. Dave is the son of Elaine Bell and the late Darrell L. Bell and brother to siblings Scott Bell (Lisa), Kevin Bell (Celia), Kristina Saunders (Chris), Michael Bell (Jeni), Bob Bell (Chelsea) with half-brother Matthew Cohen (Jessica) and step-sister Kaila Osborn (Steve).
