David M. Sconfienza

January 6, 1953 - August 8, 2012

David passed away on August 8th, 2012.  He was born on January 6th, 1953 to Frank and June Sconfienza in the wilds of Montana.

He lived his life like the untamed wilds with a wonderful sense of humor and kind heart.  His happiest times where spent in Montana with Renee and his family and friends.

David attended Judge Memorial High School where he enjoyed many sports and parties with his friends.  He was drafted in 1970 and served in Vietnam.  He worked for Salt Lake City Corporation till he retired in 2011.

In 1978 I met my beloved husband and we were married in 1983.  In 1987 we were blessed with the birth of our daughter Maria, who is the “apple of our eye”.

David is survived by his wife Renee, daughter Maria (Demetris) Carillo; mother June; sisters Dawn (Marty) Warner, Terri (Ray) Kaleel, Tia; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Frank M., and brother Frank J.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18th at 6:00 PM at St. Jude’s Church, 4893 S. Wasatch St. (100 East), Murray.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s building fund or help for military families, medical treatment, The Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite #420, Rockville, MD 20850-5168, in David’s memory.

His jovial presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

To David's Family, I am saddened by your loss. David and I went to St. Ann's and Judge together. He was always the prankster in school. Looking back, those were the best times in our lives. You are all in my prayers. Cherie Morrell Royce-Class of 1971
