Delisa Rene Hodges

Delisa Rene Hodges ended her courageous battle with brain cancer on October 7, 2018. She was born in Sheridan, Wyoming. She graduated from Riverton High School. Then attended college and received her bachelors degree in accounting. 

As a young girl she was gifted with an exceptional ability to play the piano.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with friends and family; she never left their homes and yards without her special touch.

After beating brain cancer the first time; Delisa’s wish was to go to Hawaii and swim with the dolphins . November of 2005 her wish came true. Along with four generations of her family to share that special moment with her.

She is survived by her wife Jennifer. Her daughter Amanda; grandchildren Gavynn, Alivia, Abreah who she loved dearly. Devon (Megan), Krystal (Michael), Chloe (Chad). Her mother Vonda; sister Kairsten (Craig); along with many other close family and friends.

Preceded in death by her father Roland Carl Moss, sister Alana Jepsen, and her grandma Tuffy.

 The family would like to thank all those who supported Delisa through her life’s journey.

A celebration of Delisa’s life will be on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the build.
