Diane Ilene Geary

August 9, 1971 - December 14, 2016

Diane Ilene Geary, age 45, passed away peacefully December 14, 2016 after a heroic three year battle with cancer.

Diane touched the lives of everyone she met.  Although she was sweet and shy, she lit up any room she was in.  Her friends and family knew her to be good hearted, open, caring, loving, and kind.  Through her long struggle with cancer she always had a positive attitude and never stopped looking forward to each and every day.

Diane was a young mother and Candy, her daughter, was the most important person in her life.  She always did everything to make Candy happy and to show her that she was loved.  Diane was not only Candy's mom, but also her best friend.  Diane met her husband Wade when she was only 20 and she made his life wonderful every day for 25 years.  Diane and Wade were always together and made each other happy through some of the most wonderful and difficult times.

She is survived by her loving husband Wade, her daughter Candy and her adoring family; including her Father Ron, Mother Rela; her brother and sisters (Mike, Alina, Cindy, and Trina); as well as her many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  Her step-mother Charlotte and her step-father Bruce (who has since passed away) were also a big part of her life growing up.  She has a truly amazing family and they all brought her comfort and love during her struggles over the past few years.  Her family was with her, even as she passed from this life into the next.

She also leaves behind her lovable kittens which earned her the title of crazy cat lady.
Words cannot describe how much we will miss her.  Her infectious smile.  Her laughter.  Her hugs.  We all hope
that she has gone to a better place and hope to see her again.
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light." — Dylan Thomas
