Dominic Pacomio Archibeque
September 2, 1971 - August 9, 2016
Dominic was born September 2, 1971, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elias Joel and Cynthia Galvan. He was raised and attended grade school in Rose Park, and graduated from West High School in 1989. He and Jennie were married in May of 1993. Together they have three children.
Obtaining his Master Electrician License was a big accomplishment. He loved running, biking, swimming, cyclocross, snowboarding, bird hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling and Harley rides. His current accomplishment was his running record, running every day for 446 days straight (one mile or more). The Vikings and Twins were held in high regard in our home. He appreciated giving to others and expected nothing in return. He loved his family and friends very deeply, softly and quietly.
He is survived by his mother, Cynthia; wife, Jennie; son Xavier (Sarah) of Virginia Beach; daughter; Sarah (Anthony) Sutherland of West Valley; daughter and Best Friend Darian; in-laws Patrick and Julia Windschitl of Wentworth, SD; three grandchildren Sophia, Tobie and Luca; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elias; brother, Elias Jr; nephew Jeffrey; grandparents Efren and Jessie Lucero, Antonio and Julia Esparza, Raymond and Delores Maestas; grandmother Rebecca Sanchez; and dear friend, Joey Solt.
Special thanks to Aunt Sarah Bauer for all of your love and care to our family; also to the Staff at IMC Hospital, we are truly grateful for your compassion.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday August 15th at 2pm at St. Catherine of Sienna, 170 University St., Salt Lake City, where a viewing will be held from 1-2 pm. Committal will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. & “T” St., Salt Lake City.
He will be forever missed and remembered. His light will continue to shine within all of us.
In Loving Memory
The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two; one side was filled with memories; the other side died with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep; and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering you is easy. I do it everyday: but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain; you see, life has gone on without you, but will never be the same. ~Author unknown To Dominic's family, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Dominic, some of my most cherished memories are times I spent with you. Until we meet again, rest in peace my friend.

Jennie - I always could tell how much love the two of you had for one another in every photo I saw of you together. My heart is broken for you and your family. I know saying sorry cannot even touch the amount of hurt you are in. I wish you strength and hope. Hope is something we all need to get us through the darkest days. Much love to you all during this time.

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of Dominic. Our creator is a God of love who views death as an enemy. In his due time, he will destroy death and all the sadness that comes along with it. Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3,4.

Dear Archibeque Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love suddenly. I took comfort from this loving assurance at Revelation 21:4:"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May you take comfort from this promise that is sure to come true. Joy
