Dona Mae Olesen
September 6, 1924 - May 4, 2019
Our beloved, sweet mother passed away peacefully at the age of 94.
Dona Mae was born in Logan Utah, the first child of Alfred and Christena Otte. She was raised in Logan and soon after high school graduation, she married her one and only true love, B.Delmont Olesen in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Logan Temple. Dona Mae was the third generation of her family married in the Logan Temple.
She lived in Florida and California, then returned to Utah.
Mother was loved by all who knew her. She was loving, kind and giving. Our family remembering her to never have spoken ill of anyone. She was a gentle spirit with a kind heart. Our family will miss her dearly.
Dona Mae was preceded by the passing of her husband. She leaves behind her son Gary Olesen and daughter Janene Croff, four grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and other family members.
Celebration of her life will be Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints, 10115 Yorkshire Dr., South Jordan, Utah.
A viewing will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Dona will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah.
