Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother returned to Heavenly Father on June 24th, 2013.
She was born July 22, 1932 in Richfield, UT to Elvira and Frederic Whitehead. She graduated from Granite High School and grew up in Richfield. On June 18, 1952, Dona saved the life of Jim Redlin by becoming his bride. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Dona was very active in her faith and in her ward and spent many hours researching genealogy. Dona enjoyed knitting, reading, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband; children Barb (Penny), Charlie (Linda), Connie (Dennis) Marshall, Kathy; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her son, Mike.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 27th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 28th at 11:00 AM at the North Jordan 2nd Ward, 4270 South Falcon Street, West Valley City, where a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan.
