Donna Rae (Bailey) McGuire

Mom was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Murray Shepherd Bailey and Elverda Christensen Bailey on February 16th, 1937. She left her earthly body on October 7th 2012. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be sorely missed.

She married Larry Dean McGuire on July 23rd 1954. Mom and Dad raised 8 children: Larry Jr. (deceased), Biff (Trixie), Peggy (Billy), Laurie (Phil), Scott, Vard, Patrick (Megan) and Mindy. Her legacy includes 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Larry, and two brothers David and Merrill. She is survived by husband Larry Sr.; children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; five sisters Connie, Marilyn, Joyce, Sharon, and Leona; and two brothers Oneil and Paul.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 12th at 10:00 am at Edison Ward, Pioneer Stake Center 1401 West 700 South, SLC Utah. As per mom's wishes, she was cremated.

To the Larry and Donna Rae family. I worked with Larry for many years, first at the U and the at LDS Hosp. We archery hunted in the Uintahs together with Larry's friend on a number of occasions. I frequently think about both Larry and Donna Rae. Our prayers are with you all. Art Smith
