Dorothy L. Lopez
March 31, 1933 - August 17, 2026
Dorothy was born in Adamsville, Utah to Wilfred J. Larsen and Iris J. Larsen. She attended Riverside Elementary, Jordan Junior High, and West High School.
In 1950, married Gordon H. Graham. They had two sons together, Kenneth G. Graham and Ronald H. Graham. They later divorced. In 1964 she remarried Joseph E. Lopez. They had one son, Joseph P. Lopez. She was employed by Mountain Bell Telecommunications Services for 33 years, retiring in 1990. Following retirement, she volunteered at St Mark’s Hospital in the medical records department.
Dorothy’s legacy continues with both of her two surviving sons, Kenneth G. (Valerie) Graham and Joseph P. (James) Lopez, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by both parents; grandson, Gregory Graham; son, Ronald H. Graham; sister, Louise (Robert) Scott; sister, Josephine (Jack) Dilley.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held Friday, September 4th, 2026 from 6-8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the parking and entrance on the north side of the building.

As some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, we will always remember Grandma Dorothy’s kindness, her warm smile, sweet laugh, and her love of family gatherings. She meant so much to us and will always hold a special place in our hearts and lives. Our thoughts are with the whole family at this difficult time.
My aunt Dorothy was a sweetheart we love going every Friday to her house so my mom could craft with my aunt Dorothy and bring lunch to her also , love u so much , aunt Dorothy say hi to Louise and Josephine and
I had the pleasure of working with Dorothy at St. Mark’s for nearly ten years. She was always kind and patient and willing to pass on her knowledge of medical records. She loved to tell stories about her family and the good ole days. I will miss her smile and giggles and her Christmas cards!
It saddened me to hear of the passing of Dorothy, She was a kind and loving person and a good friend to me over the years. She was a fantastic Granny Goose/Great Granny Goose to Geoffrey, Derek and their children. You will be missed dearly by all. Give Gregory hugs and kisses.
