Dorothy Winter Jewett

Dorothy Winter Jewett, 93, passed away surrounded by family on May 30, 2013. Dorothy was born August 28, 1919 in Gateshead, Co. Durham, England to George Young Winter and Margaret Ann Barbara Hutchinson Winter. She immigrated to America in 1948. Dorothy married Milton Quentin Jewett in the Salt Lake Temple on April 11, 1952. They were loving parents of two children. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings in the Relief Society and Primary.

Dorothy is survived by daughter Janice (Dan) Yeske, son Quentin W. Jewett; 2 grandchildren, Sara (Nathan) Reed and Morgan (Laurel) Yeske and 2 great-grandchildren, Ava and Evi Reed.

Preceded in death by husband, Milton; her parents and 9 siblings.

Viewing to be held Tuesday, June 4 from 6-8 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, SLC. Funeral Services Wednesday, June 5 at 11 am, viewing 1 hour prior, also at Starks Funeral Parlor.
