Edmond Leland Schwartz

Eddie’s powerful presence ceased when he folded his last and final hand at life on July 15th. Ed was born to Marvin and Esther Schwartz in California were he was raised.

Eddie had a powerful presence. His first love was his family and his greatest pride was his son, Andrew Luras.

Ed’s passions were golf, all sports and spending time with friends at the casino in Las Vegas where he lived. Living life to its fullest is putting it mildly when describing Eddie. He loved good food mixed with great company. His zest for life was contagious, bringing everyone along with him and he desired to see the world. He truly lived his life ‘His way’.

The Family Unit is like fingers on a hand, even though you have four fingers and one thumb, when one is missing the hand is not the same as it is now, in our lives, at the passing of Eddie.

Ed will be sorely missed by ALL who had the pleasure of having him in their life or simply meeting him for a dinner or two. He was generous and gracious, he had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. May his memory be eternal. 

Eddy is survived by: Andrew Luras (Son) and Sonya Luras, Sandy, (Aunt) and Marty Salute (Uncle), Barry (Uncle) and Loraine (Aunt) Sterman, many loving cousins as well as  extended family and friends, Renee Luras, partner in life and mother of his son.

Eddy’s Celebration of life will be held on September 11th, 2022
