Eileen Mary Lyons
October 8, 1946 - January 12, 2019
Eileen Lyons passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019 after a long and full life. She was born on October 10, 1946 to William York and Margaret Cannon York.
Eileen was full of life and was dedicated to helping others. She was always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Her love and kind words inspired friendship and compassion in everyone she met. She enriched the lives of those around her with her generosity and love of life. Family and friends were a vital part of her life and she treasured the times spent together, in joy and in sadness.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diana Boyle, whom she loved dearly.
She was married to Jacob Lyons (later divorced) and had two children. She is survived by her daughter MaryMargaret Moriarty (Robert), her son Jeffrey Lyons, (Stephanie Hession), and her grandchildren Brian, Michael, Justin, Hailey, Arianna, and Rowan.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Eileen’s life on January 18th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet on the north side of the building.
