Elaine Trujillo Gomez
May 1, 1948 - March 10, 2016
Elaine Trujillo Gomez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, made her transition from this life to the next in the loving arms of her husband on March 10, 2016 in Murray, Utah, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Elaine was born to Adolph and Manuelita Trujillo on May 1, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was very devoted to her faith and her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking them shopping to spend grandpa's money. She was charitable and always willing to help anyone in their time of need. She was instrumental in helping others grow in their faith by being supportive, joyful and fun-spirited.
Although her struggle with cancer was a long and weary journey, Elaine soldiered on with courage, determination and an illuminating smile which brought much comfort to her loving family and friends. Elaine was also very grateful to all the doctors and nurses who helped her in her battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years Clarance "Larry" Gomez; sons Jeff (Cindy), Randy (Becky) and TJ (Lisa); grandchildren Erica, Stephanie, Niten, Eli, Alex, Chaz, Madilyn, Jazmine and Astrid; siblings Betty Ann (George – deceased) Maestas, Adolph (Ester), Ernie (Katie), Rev.
