Elizabeth Parrish

Elizabeth Parrish
1922 – 2015

Our beautiful and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on the evening of January 13th, 2015 with her loving family by her side.

Elizabeth May Parrish was born November 17th, 1922 to Angelo May and Anna Marie Tancheti who emigrated from Schilpario, Italy. Elizabeth was the last of twelve children born to her mother.

Lizzy's biggest passion in life was her strong devotion to her husband and family. She was known for her meticulous house keeping, her "all-out" decorating for every occasion, and the many hours spent "browsing" at shops and malls. Liz will be remembered for her style, grace, beauty, and the special ways she spoiled the grand kids.

Survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Parrish; children Lynn Roberts and Loch Parrish; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives; and life long friends Ralph and Joyce Erickson.

A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held on Saturday, January 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building.

Special thanks to Inspiration Hospice and the caring staff at St. Joesph Villa.

In Loving Memory

I am so sorry for your loss. Liz was so kind and giving to me in the short time I had the priviledge of hanging out with her. May the fond memories of her kindness and generousity bring you peace.

Diane E Stewart

Salt Lake City, Ut

My sincere condolences to the Parrish family. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) While grief at the loss of Elizabeth is great, joy at welcoming her back in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5;42) With deepest sympathy,
